CUTTING GUIDE
Two 8” x 8” solid color cardstock (base, napkin fold)
One 8 1/16” x 8 1/16” solid color cardstock (lid)
Base cover papers:
Four 3 ¾” x 1 ¾” pattern paper
One 3 7/8” x 3 7/8” pattern paper
Lid cover papers:
Four 3 7/8” x ¾” pattern paper
One 3 7/8” x 3 7/8” pattern paper
Napkin fold cover papers:
Four 2 ½” x 2 ½” pattern paper
Eight 1 5/8” x 1 5/8” pattern paper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Score base at 2” and 6”, turn 90 degrees and score again.
2. Fold score lines.
3. Cut along score line from edge to score line. Snip edges diagonally to make a tab.
4. Repeat on all four corners.
5. Attach tabs to walls of box. Cover outside walls and inside of box with cover papers.
6. Score lid at 1” and 2” on all four sides. Fold score lines.
7. Cut along inside score line and along second score line. Cut out corner. Cut inside tab along score line in half. Snip diagonally to make tabs.
8. Cover lid on the outside with cover papers.
9. Score napkin fold at 2” and 6” the same a s box.
10. Mark the center at 4” on each side. Score diagonally from marked points.
11. Fold all score lines.
12. Create the napkin fold according to video.
13. Cut square cover papers into triangles and cover napkin fold.
14. Cut diagonally in both directions in center of napkin fold. Cover with cover papers.
15. Apply glue to backside of center triangle and attach to inside of box. Repeat with other sides to attach napkin fold to box.
When she was a young girl Einat used to sit on the carpet at her grandparents’ house with a huge scrapbook on her knees looking through it with amazement.
