Hi, I'm Jacquelynne, and I like to make things! I started The Art of Home as a way to highlight my love for being creative with "homey" activities like sewing, cooking, and decorating.

I design quilt patterns and offer online workshops so that others can experience the fun of “painting with fabric” in making quilts and other hand-made items. After being frustrated with the instructions that I purchased while learning how to quilt, I decided to make sure that my instructions were easy to follow, with lots of diagrams to help in visualizing the quilt making process.

Many of my designs are part of The Art of Home Club, where our creative “neighbors” enjoy new projects every month. I purposely design our Club projects so that our members can “mix & match” the designs with other Club projects to make their own unique & custom quilts and stretch their creativity.
